Effective Date: October 15, 2026 Version: 1.0 Applies to: All Buyers who submit, edit, or publish a review through the Platform.
Article 1: Introduction and Scope
1.1 This document governs a Buyer's reviews of Products on the Platform: who may review, the duties of authenticity and disclosure the Buyer bears, conduct that is prohibited, and the Company's rights to hold, moderate, and remove a review.
1.2 The User Content and Reviews Policy states the platform rule for User Content and reviews, including ownership and the license a User grants on submission; this document states the Buyer's obligations under the same rule and incorporates the User Content and Reviews Policy by reference. The Company's compliance position under the Federal Trade Commission rule on consumer reviews is stated in the FTC Fake Review Rule, which governs the regulatory duties behind this document and creates no separate private right under this document.
1.3 If a provision of this document conflicts with the Terms of Use, this document controls for the subject it governs. If a provision of this document conflicts with the terms of a program in which the Buyer participates, the program terms control for that program. Policies and help pages explain this document; they do not amend it, and in any conflict this document prevails.
Article 2: Definitions
2.1 The definitions in the Terms of Use are incorporated into this document by reference and apply to this document. This article defines only the additional terms used in this document, in alphabetical order.
2.2 Material Connection: a relationship between the Buyer and a Seller or a Product that a reader would consider material to the weight of a review, including receipt of a Product without charge or at a discount in exchange for a review, compensation of any kind, employment, family relationship, and an affiliate or business relationship.
2.3 Review: a rating and accompanying statement about a Product that a Buyer submits through the Platform for publication on the Product page.
2.4 Verified Purchase: a purchase of the reviewed Product through the Platform, recorded in the Buyer's Order history and matched to the Review.
Article 3: Who May Review
3.1 The Buyer may review a Product the Buyer purchased through the Platform. A Review is linked to the Buyer's Account and to the purchased Product, and the Platform distinguishes a Review based on a Verified Purchase from a Review that is not.
3.2 The Buyer shall submit one Review for a Product for each purchase of that Product. The Buyer may edit the Buyer's own Review; an edit replaces the prior version, and the Platform retains the edit history.
3.3 The Buyer shall not review a Product the Buyer did not purchase, except where the Platform expressly invites an expert or editorial review and labels the review as such.
Article 4: Submission and Publication
4.1 The Buyer shall submit a Review through the review facility on the Product page, stating a display name of at least two (2) characters, a rating of one (1) to five (5) stars, and review text of at least ten (10) characters. A submission that does not meet a stated requirement shall be rejected with the specific reason stated, so that the Buyer may correct and resubmit it.
4.2 Every Review is held for moderation before publication. No Review appears publicly until moderation is complete. Published Reviews for a Product appear with the most recent Review first.
4.3 Moderation examines a Review for compliance with this document and for indications of manipulation. A Review held for moderation is pending a decision; a hold is not a removal and is not a suppression of a negative Review.
Article 5: Duties of Authenticity and Disclosure
5.1 A Review shall reflect the Buyer's genuine experience with the Product, stated in the Buyer's own words. The Buyer shall state what occurred in the Buyer's experience with the Product purchased.
5.2 A Review shall be truthful. The Buyer shall not state as fact a matter the Buyer knows to be false, or a matter the Buyer has no basis to state, concerning a Product or a Seller. An honestly held opinion, including an opinion that a Product is overpriced or unsatisfactory, is the Buyer's own and is not a violation of this clause.
5.3 The Buyer shall disclose a Material Connection plainly in the text of the Review itself. Disclosure in a separate location, in a profile, or in obscured text does not satisfy this clause. An undisclosed compensated Review and an undisclosed insider Review violate this document and federal law as stated in the FTC Fake Review Rule.
5.4 A Review shall concern the Product and the transaction for that Product. The Buyer shall not include in a Review: (a) personal information of the Buyer or of another person, including a telephone number or an address; (b) profanity, hate speech, or harassment directed at a person; (c) a medical or veterinary diagnosis concerning an animal, as distinct from observable facts, which the Buyer shall state as facts and shall report as an adverse event to the Seller and, for a regulated Product, to the authority the Product page identifies; or (d) content unrelated to the Product.
5.5 A Review is published under the display name in the Buyer's Account. The Buyer is responsible for the content of a Review the Buyer publishes.
Article 6: Prohibited Manipulation
6.1 Fake Reviews. The Buyer shall not post a Review for a Product the Buyer did not genuinely purchase and use, and shall not post a Review containing a claim the Buyer knows to be false. The Company compares a reviewer against Order records in moderation and in an investigation.
6.2 Incentives without disclosure. The Buyer shall not accept compensation, including money, a Product without charge, a discount, a contest entry, or membership in a review program, in exchange for a Review without the disclosure required by Article 5, clause 5.3. The violation is the absence of disclosure, not the receipt of compensation that is disclosed as this document requires. No disclosure cures a Review purchased by a Seller to be positive, or purchased to be negative about a competitor, as stated in the FTC Fake Review Rule.
6.3 Review extortion. The Buyer shall not threaten a negative Review, and shall not promise a positive Review, to obtain a refund, a discount, a concession, or another benefit from a Seller. Review extortion is a violation of this document enforced under Article 10 without a cure period.
6.4 Coordinated manipulation. The Buyer shall not: (a) coordinate with another person to post positive or negative Reviews to move a rating; (b) post more than one Review of the same Product through more than one Account; (c) offer to sell or to buy a Review; or (d) engage a service to perform any conduct in this article on the Buyer's behalf. The Buyer is responsible for the conduct of an agent engaged by the Buyer under this clause as the Buyer's own conduct.
6.5 Retaliatory misuse. The Buyer shall not use a Review to harass a Seller or to publish a false claim following an adverse Determination under the Buyer Dispute and Escalation Policy. The review facility is not a means of review of a Determination; review of a Determination is governed by that document.
Article 7: Conduct of Sellers Stated for the Buyer
7.1 A Seller shall not suppress an honest negative Review, shall not solicit a Review only from Buyers the Seller believes to be satisfied, shall not offer compensation for a positive Review without the disclosure this document requires, shall not post or procure a fake Review of the Seller's own Product or of a competitor's Product, shall not threaten a reviewer, and shall not misrepresent review coverage, including by stating an aggregate rating that includes undisclosed incentivized Reviews. Seller duties and consequences are stated in full in the Selling Terms of Service.
7.2 A Buyer who receives a request to remove or to change an honest Review in exchange for anything of value, or a threat concerning a Review, shall preserve the messages and shall report the request or threat through the Order or to support@aapawz.com. The preservation and the report are the records on which the Company acts against the Seller.
7.3 An honest negative Review based on a genuine purchase shall not be removed, suppressed, or reduced in prominence for being negative. A Seller who retaliates against a Buyer for such a Review violates the Selling Terms of Service.
Article 8: Moderation and Removal Rights of the Company
8.1 The Company may hold, remove, or suppress a Review that violates this document, and may remove every Review authored by an Account where an investigation establishes that the Account's Reviews are fake or manipulated as a pattern.
8.2 Moderation and removal are determined by compliance with this document and not by the rating given. An honest one-star Review is not removed for being negative, and a five-star Review is removed where the Review is fake.
8.3 Where the Company removes a Review, the Company shall state to the Buyer the specific provision of this document the Review violated. A Buyer may raise a removal that is not part of a measure against the Buyer's Account as an escalation under the Buyer Dispute and Escalation Policy. A removal that accompanies a measure against the Account is appealed under Article 11 of this document.
8.4 Removal of a Review is removal of the Review. Suspension or termination of the Account for review conduct is a separate measure governed by Article 11 and the Buyer Account Policy.
Article 9: Liability
9.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither party is liable to the other for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, or loss of goodwill, arising out of or relating to this document, even if the party has been advised of the possibility of those damages.
9.2 To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company's total liability arising out of or relating to this document shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts the Buyer paid for the Order giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred dollars ($100).
9.3 This article does not limit (a) a party's indemnification obligations under this document; (b) liability for fraud or willful misconduct; (c) amounts the Buyer owes for Orders, fees, chargebacks, or refunds under this document; or (d) liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
9.4 The parties agree that this article allocates risk between them, that it is an essential part of the basis of their bargain, and that it applies even if a limited remedy fails of its essential purpose.
Article 10: Indemnification
10.1 The Buyer shall indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company and its members, managers, employees, and agents from and against every claim, demand, action, loss, liability, judgment, settlement, cost, and expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) the Buyer's breach of this document; (b) the Buyer's Reviews and other User Content; and (c) the Buyer's violation of any law, including the federal rule stated in the FTC Fake Review Rule, or of the rights of any person.
10.2 The Company shall give prompt written notice of a claim under this article. The Buyer shall control the defense with counsel reasonably acceptable to the Company. The Company may participate in the defense at its own expense. The Buyer shall not settle a claim in a manner that imposes any obligation or restriction on the Company, or that does not release the Company fully, without the Company's prior written consent.
10.3 This article survives the termination of this document.
Article 11: Enforcement and Appeals
11.1 The Company may investigate any suspected violation of this document. The Buyer shall cooperate with an investigation and shall produce the records this document requires the Buyer to keep, including the Order record for a reviewed Product and messages concerning an incentive or a Material Connection.
11.2 If the Company determines that the Buyer has violated this document, the Company shall give written notice stating the provision violated and the facts relied on, except where notice would compromise an investigation of fraud, a safety risk, or a legal obligation.
11.3 Where a violation is capable of cure, the Buyer has ten (10) business days from notice to cure it and to confirm the cure in writing. No cure period applies to fraud, including a fake Review, an undisclosed compensated Review, coordinated manipulation, and review extortion, to a risk to the safety of a person or an animal, to unlawful conduct, or to a violation that by its nature cannot be cured.
11.4 If a violation is established and is not cured within the period allowed, the Company may, proportionate to the violation: (a) issue a written warning; (b) remove or suppress the Review or the Buyer's User Content; (c) suspend the Buyer's review privileges, in whole or in part; (d) suspend the Account or a program participation, in whole or in part; (e) terminate this document and the Account; and (f) exercise any other right or remedy available under this document or at law.
11.5 The Buyer may appeal a measure under this article by written notice to legal@aapawz.com within thirty (30) days of the measure, stating the grounds and attaching the records relied on. The appeal is decided by a person who did not make the original decision. The Company's decision on appeal is final. A measure remains in effect during an appeal unless the Company directs otherwise in writing.
11.6 The Company's delay in acting on a violation is not a waiver of the violation or of any later violation of the same kind.
Article 12: Term and Termination
12.1 This document takes effect when the Buyer first submits a Review through the Platform and continues until terminated under this article.
12.2 The Company may terminate this document and the Account on thirty (30) days' written notice for any reason, and immediately on written notice if the Buyer materially breaches this document, engages in fraud, or becomes ineligible to participate.
12.3 The Buyer may terminate this document on thirty (30) days' written notice to support@aapawz.com, provided the Buyer has no Order, booking, or investigation outstanding. Termination of this document does not remove a published Review; removal is governed by Article 8 and by the Buyer Account Policy on closure.
12.4 On termination: (a) the rights granted under this document end; (b) obligations that arose before termination: including payment, refund, chargeback, record-keeping, and indemnification obligations: survive until satisfied; and (c) the Company shall disburse amounts owed, less amounts the Company may set off under this document, within thirty (30) days, except amounts held in connection with an open investigation or dispute.
12.5 The Definitions, Liability, Indemnification, Enforcement and Appeals (for measures taken before termination), Dispute Resolution, and General Provisions articles survive termination.
Article 13: Dispute Resolution
13.1 Any dispute arising out of or relating to this document, or to the relationship it governs, is governed by the Dispute Resolution Policy, which is incorporated into this document by reference.
Article 14: General Provisions
14.1 The Company may amend this document by posting the amended document in the Document Center and giving notice to the Buyer at the email address in the Account. An amendment that materially increases the Buyer's fees or obligations takes effect thirty (30) days after notice; other amendments take effect on posting. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date of an amendment is acceptance of it. If the Buyer does not accept an amendment, the Buyer's remedy is to terminate under the Term and Termination article before the amendment takes effect.
14.2 Legal notices under this document shall be sent to legal@aapawz.com. Operational notices and all other communications, including a report of review abuse, shall be sent to support@aapawz.com. A notice to the Company is effective when the Company acknowledges receipt or, for email, one business day after sending, whichever is earlier. Notices to the Buyer are effective when sent to the email address in the Account or posted to the Account's notice facility in the portal, whichever occurs first. The Buyer shall keep the email address in the Account current. Notices under the DMCA and Copyright Policy are given as provided in that policy, to the designated agent at legal@aapawz.com.
14.3 This document is governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to the Dispute Resolution Policy, any proceeding arising out of this document shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Shelby County, Tennessee, and the parties consent to personal jurisdiction there.
14.4 If any provision of this document is held unenforceable, the provision shall be enforced to the fullest extent permitted, and the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
14.5 This document, together with the documents it incorporates by reference, is the entire agreement between the Company and the Buyer for the subject it governs and supersedes every prior or contemporaneous statement, communication, or agreement on that subject, whether written or oral.
14.6 The Buyer shall not assign this document or any right or obligation under it without the Company's prior written consent, and an assignment without consent is void. The Company may assign this document to an affiliate or in connection with a sale of all or part of its business, on notice to the Buyer.
14.7 A waiver of any provision of this document is effective only in writing and only for the instance stated. No waiver is a waiver of any other provision or instance.
14.8 Headings are for convenience only. "Including" means "including without limitation." This document shall not be construed against a party on the ground that the party prepared this document. The English-language text controls over any translation.
