Notice

The catalog's Animal Care Assistant program (ACA, 170 hours, 9 weeks) is different from the Animal Care Assistant pathway described in Leashed Diploma Pathways, which is 988 hours over 35 weeks. The same code is used for both. Check which program you are looking at before you compare hours or plan a schedule.

Filtering and searching the catalog

Five controls sit above the catalog, and they combine

  1. Pathway narrows the catalog to one track: veterinary (VET, VTE, VST, VTN, PVM, VPT), practice management (VPM, GSP), behavior and training (PRT, ABT), grooming (GRO, FEL), or animal care (ACA, ZKA, EQN).
  2. Level filters modules by course level when you are in the modules view.
  3. Duration separates short programs (16 weeks or under) from longer programs.
  4. Search looks across program codes, titles, descriptions, track names, and module content. Searching "safety" or "gate" also surfaces modules marked as safety gates; searching "practicum" surfaces practicum modules.
  5. Sort changes the order in which programs are presented, beginning with featured programs.

Programs view and modules view

Use the toggle above the catalog to switch views

  • Programs view shows the fifteen programs as cards.
  • Modules view shows individual modules: the course units, with codes, titles, hours, and descriptions. When you search in modules view, matching modules are grouped under their parent program so you can see why a program matched.

Reading a program card

Each card shows the program title, the credential, the number of weeks, the module count, and the total hours. Select a card to open the program detail page; see Program Detail Pages. Tuition does not appear on the cards or in the catalog. For cost questions, join the waitlist as described in Enrollment and Waitlist and ask when you are contacted.

What the catalog does not do

The catalog is for browsing and reading. You cannot enroll from a card, save programs, compare programs side by side, or see cohort start dates in the catalog. Every enrollment path leads to the waitlist.

If program information looks out of date

Catalog pages are generated from the published program content. If a program's hours or terms look wrong, or if they differ from what admissions told you, follow the information admissions gave you and report the difference so the page can be corrected.
