This page covers enrollment through the waitlist at /learn/enroll: what you see on the page, what happens when you submit the form, why enrollment starts with a waitlist, and what to do if the form fails or you hear nothing back.
What you see
Every enrollment button in the Learning Center leads to /learn/enroll. The page states that enrollment is opening soon, explains that your customer account will also be your learner account, and presents the waitlist form: one email field and one submit button. Links below the form return you to the course catalog at /learn or to the shop.
Joining the waitlist
- Go to
/learn/enroll, or select an enrollment button on any program detail page. - Enter an email address you read regularly. This address is how admissions will reach you.
- Submit the form.
- Look for the success message on the page: "You're on the waitlist: we'll let you know when enrollment opens."
Notice
No confirmation email is sent. The success message on the page is the confirmation. If you want a record, save a screenshot of the success message.
What happens when you submit
- Your email address is checked. An address in an invalid format is rejected, and the form shows an error so you can correct it and try again.
- Duplicates are removed. If the same email address is already on the waitlist, no second record is created, and you see the same success message.
- Your signup is recorded for admissions follow-up. A new signup is recorded as a waitlist lead, so follow-up runs through the same process admissions uses for other inquiries.
- Admissions works the list when a cohort opens. The waitlist is a notification list, not a numbered queue. There is no position number to check.
Why enrollment starts with a waitlist
Enrollment into a cohort requires a start date, a seat count, assigned instructors, tuition handling, and classroom access. The waitlist collects the one thing needed first: the names of people who want to enroll: so admissions can open cohorts to those people first. When enrollment opens, your learner record, cohort assignment, and classroom access are created from your existing customer account; see Learner Account and Sign-In.
If something goes wrong
- The form shows "Something went wrong: please try again." A network or server problem prevented the signup from being recorded. Your email address was not saved; submit the form again.
- You signed up twice. No action is needed. Duplicate signups are removed automatically and do not affect your place.
- You signed up and have heard nothing. The waitlist is worked when a cohort opens, not on a fixed schedule. If a long time has passed, contact admissions through the address below rather than signing up again.
